'I woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs
Jumped out from the covers and ran to my chest
Found the pants that shall cover my legs
Today I am a pirate, just, after breakfast!

The eggs look like eyes and the bacon is smiling
The toast makes ears and a sausage for a nose
I ate it all with the fastest timing!
I ran back to my room and found my clothes

A red bandanna around my head
And a white puffy shirt for on my chest
The wooden sword from under my bed
An eye patch and my little black vest!

My pants are brown and I have a cloth belt
Now to find my boots and I'm ready
They make me the tallest I've ever felt
Big and tall, I have to walk steady

No big pirate would fall on his head!
He's the hero and comes out on top!
"But this pirate must first make his bed"
Says my mother with a tap of the mop.

I dodge it fast but I get splashed and wet
She giggles and smiles and makes me happy
She picks me up and sends me off with a pet
I like it when she pets my head, but I don't need sappy!

Once I'm dry and my bed is made
I ran outside to see a girl in trouble!
I'll save you! My little Mermaid
She's so perfect! She should be in a bubble

If anyone popped her sensitive bubble
Made her feel scared or intimidated
I'm sure I could beat them with the life boats paddle
Canons and guns are too overrated!

I saved her from the cyclone of cars
Take her hand and she sits on a rock
Searches her scales and finds two candy bars!
Seagulls above fly in a flock

She's so pretty with her hair of gold
I hoped she'd always be MY mermaid!
But that all started at 9 years old
Eleven years on and she's about to be married!

Married to a tall man with brown hair
Eyes of Green in a black tuxedo
Staring at her skin so fair
He should have the biggest Ego!

That man is a pirate who saved her
She always calls him her little hero boy
Even though he is a year older!
And she's his mermaid so that's okay!

Eleven years on and she's still the best,
I'm glad I was a pirate that day and mum was happy
She supported us, unlike the rest!
She still pets me and is still so sappy

But thanks to her I have two specials in my life
I have my mother and my Water Princess of Blond
I'll be a pirate with a mermaid Wife
Happy ever after with those rings that Bond
